Spellbound

🕯 I HEAR the sound of Autumn leaves crunching underfoot… 🕯I SMELL the decay of the natural world around me. The sweet aroma of Nature changing. 🕯I SEE the images of Ghosts, Ghouls and Witches gathering… 🕯I TOUCH cold Earth, ripe apples and pumpkins, the fruits of my labors… 🕯I FEEL a stirring in my blood… What is Halloween? Why do some call it Samhain? Is it related to Day of the Dead? Is it a Holiday rooted in Death? Why do we celebrate this? Join Jess in circle and and let these questions tumble out. Let us discover some history and symbology of Halloween together.

• Pictures of their families living and passed

• Any altar items

• Notebook  pen

• Mug (if you want) We are going to be sitting, there will be cushions but feel free to bring a folding chair. Wear comfortable clothes but perhaps “dress in the spirit of the Season” 👻
