Preparation
There will be ample time to prepare for this journey. It will be imperative for the safety of the participant and the group that each human arrives as prepared as possible. Some of that preparation could include; having all items compiled on the checklist, extended amounts of fitness and physical training, clean diets, mental centering, taking a break from unhealthy habits etc. More to come on ths.
About the Journey:
This retreat is designed as a deep, immersive backpacking experience into the heart of Dark Canyon and its surrounding areas. While the full loop of the Woodenshoe, Dark, and Peavine trails measures approximately 40 miles, our intention is not to race to complete the loop. Instead, we will hike into the canyon and move through the land at a pace that honors the physical needs, rhythms, and energy of the group.
