Mantra is part of Naad Yoga, or the Yoga of Sound. In Sanskrit, “Man” means mind and “trang” or “tra” means wave of protection. When you repeat a specific, meaningful statement or affirmation you invite the vibration of those words into your being. Thus, creating a shift in your energy and even changing the way your mind works.
We are creatures of habit. For better or worse we get used to moving in a direction and can eventually become complacent. When desire arises and inspires us to change course there can be a dance between resistance and receptivity. Sadhana means dedicated daily practice. A 40 day daily practice can shake you free from your usual routine, both physical and mental, by creating new healthier habits. If you can stick with it, you will discover that you have connected to a calm inner "knowing" that allows you to experience life as it comes your way and handle transitions with grace.
